Stenciling has been used since ancient times as a way to decorate everything from walls to pottery.  Innovations in stenciling materials have changed how we can stencil today.  Stencils used to be a way to quickly repeat a pattern.  In addition to traditional applications, we now have the option of creating large intricate one-piece stencils that look almost hand painted which open the possibilities for everything from ceilings to floors!
